I started play drums when I was 4. My dad bought me a 4 set and I got crazy.
At the age of 6 I started studying piano. I must admit It has been hard but now
I'm thankful to my parents for they forced me to do it!
I first sang in public when I was 18. I was scared, it's the only thing I vividly remember. After that, I performed with several local jazz bands and I developed a certain personal style.
In 1998 I sang for a national singing contest and, against all expectations, I won.
Unfortunately I met alot of vultures who wanted to control me, change my name
and other awful things, so I decided to quit and focus on school.
In 1999 I moved to England and then to Salzburg. It was great. As in Salzburg there's the famous Mozarteum, I had the chance to get to know many students, This experience provided me a new taste for music, obviously more classical.
In 2000 I moved to Sardinia and I worked as a touristic enterteiner. Something great. A great school if you wanna be a performer. There I met the Gnometto Band. I had fun with them but making parodies it wasn't exactly what I wanted to do.
In 2003 I got to know a famous producer, Guido Guglielminetti, I composed "A long way" with.
In 2003 I attended the Berklee Clinics during Umbria Jazz, Wow. the most exciting experience ever. I attended a vocal technique class with Donna McElroy and an improv class with Steve Prosser.
I've been chosen to perform onstage with my profs. And then I performed with Bobby McFerrin
Currently I'm composing, playing and performing my own songs.
